Working from details provided or developing drawings to your requirements stone can be shaped by our production team using both CNC and experienced masons to give the required accuracy and finish.
Head and sills
Heads and sills frame window openings and help to keep the water/weather out of the property. Sills are normally weathered to throw rainwater away from the opening and stooled to take the masonry above.
Quoins
Quoins stones finish off the corners of the building and give stability.
Coping and water-table
Coping and water-table finish off wall tops and have the function of keeping the weather out.
Door Surrounds and Porticos
An ornate door surround or Portico gives a strong focal point to the facade and clearly marks out the main entrance to a property, whilst the canopy version also gives refuge from the weather. We can assist with the design of these or work from design detail provided.
