Honouring History Through Design: Dunhouse Stone in the Faith Garden

Situated beside the Faith Museum, the new Faith Garden offers a peaceful space for reflection and contemplation. Its design mirrors the footprint of Bishop Anthony Bek’s long-lost medieval chapel, once located on this historic site. The garden forms the latest addition to The Auckland Project’s ongoing transformation of the Auckland Castle gardens.

Dunhouse Quarry was proud to collaborate on this project, supplying Cop Crag stone for the rhyl structure at the heart of the garden — a feature that blends craftsmanship, heritage, and natural beauty within this tranquil landscape.
